For diagnosis and therapy - (22/09/2022)
The aim of this research project is to develop a transcriptomic signature test protocol for the diagnosis and management of sepsis (failure of one or more vital organs following an infection). The identification of these genes will make it possible to discriminate between patients resistant to glucocorticoids (GC) and non-resistant patients (GC: an aetiological treatment with numerous risks for GC-resistant patients). The aim is to make this test feasible at the patient’s bedside, directly interpretable and rapid, so that the right therapeutic decision can be taken in less than four hours.
