Paris-Saclay is a remarkable pool of expertise in health technologies and clinical research. In 2024, a new hospital will be built on the Saclay plateau, in the Corbeville area. It will bring together the wards of three hospitals of the Groupe Hospitalier Nord Essonne (GHNE). The construction of this hospital invites us to revisit the interactions between technological research laboratories and health establishments in Paris-Saclay.

We are convinced that a stronger link between technologies developed in laboratories and research conducted in healthcare institutions will directly benefit patients. An essential condition for this transfer to succeed is dialogue between the research communities, the healthcare world and manufacturers.

To encourage this dialogue, which is necessary for the development of useful innovations that are well integrated in the patient care pathway and can be widely disseminated, PASREL has set up a structure for facilitation and acculturation: the PASREL Hub. This structure coordinates and connects a network of technological research laboratories and a network of healthcare institutions in Paris-Saclay.
